I’m not saying that I’ve made up my mind, but if I were going to order another Cooper S it’d probably look like this. It’s what I think is the perfect blend of nice options and economical restraint. It’s also a spec aimed more at comfort than performance.
- Pepper White w/Black roof and bonnet stripes
- 16″ wheels / all-season tires
- Premium / Cold packages
- Cloth seats, cream interior accents, piano black dash, interior chrome package
- Sat Nav (pricy, but it cleans up the center stack very nicely)
- Driving lights, rear fogs
See the full spec in the MINI Configurator (note: won’t work in Safari)
Back from a month in Holland, never made MINI United……… :-(
MINI Configurator works fine on Safari, for me. Un-checking “Block Pop Up Windows” will do the trick.
Interesting your dilemma about the new MINI. Personally, my main gripe with the R56 is the clutch feel or lack of and the steering seems to lag. The SAV? Why does the world need another SUV? And, if the Big Ass you spoke of with the Clubman was bothersome what will the SAV be like. While in Holland I got to sit in a Fiat 500/Abarth. Very kool and if it ever comes to the USA I’d consider one but the Fix It Again Tony that was apart of Fiat’s last foray on American soil would be cause for my concern.
